I'm feeling underwhelmed for such a build up. Not much follow through, IMO. Unless price point is relatively low, I think the compact is good enough.

And here I thought you had one in stock... I was just about to jump in my car and throw the GPS in to figure out where your shop is.

I can't wait to get my hands on one of these!

A 3" single stack M&P, looks awesome, should give the current crop of little 9s a run for their money provided there is a flush mag for it, and they are plentiful when it is released.

You should go anyway. And be prepared to spend.

And that looks like a sweet lil gun. I hope it carries the reliability of the larger ones.

My exact feelings. Now that I see the entire gun it does look nice. Hopefully this was just a scaled down M&P and not a full redesign.

I'm not a fan of the thumb safety either, but on the full size models they are very easy to remove. Features like an internal lock and thumb safety were designed to be easy to add or remove without any real modifications. The M&P lockwork is good and proven, they are also easy to improve with some work or Apex parts, hopefully the new shield has the same small FCG parts just in a new housing.

And when will it likely be on the MD approved list?

Hmmm. The video says the trigger has been redesigned to provide both an audible and tactile reset. I'd expect that redesign to be applied to other guns in the M&P auto line.
