New in Rockville
Hello everyone,
I have just joined, and I am a new shooter. I want to thank everyone for helping without knowing they did, as I used this forum for information and recommendations before my first post! I am interested primarily in target shooting, and in beautiful guns as collectibles. I am not a hunter, although I have done that as a kid with my dad, but those days are behind me. I have just ordered my first handgun after getting some information here and in other places: a Ruger New Model Single Six, the convertible 22LR/mag, the SS 5.5" model - really looking forward to its arrival and to playing with it! If anyone has good recommendations for target shooting locations and instruction opportunities I would be grateful for your advice. |

I was actually thinking of checking out the closest Izaak Walton chapter, it seems to be a great option for target practice. I will do so. Looking forward to helpful exchanges and some fun. |
