Question for Esq. Can the state law be less restrictive than the Federal law?
If yes you could be legal as far as the state is concerned but in violation of the GFSZA?

Yes. Quite possible. Two separate sovereigns. You need to know the law of both. 18 usc 922(q) does not purport to "occupy the field" or otherwise preempt states from enacting their own separate requirements. Compare that to 18 usc 926A, which does expressly address state laws.

Not Esq, but a good example would be medical marijuana laws. It's illegal federally, but in some states you can legally have it with a card or whatever.

And the irony in that is that a federal agent can still arrest you for a violation of federal law, even if it is completely legal under state law. It is a matter of enforcement discretion.

Someone said "land of the free' yesterday and I laughed in her face.

Where you can be spied on at any moment, you can't defend yourself, your taxes go god-knows where, and you can't decide what to put in your own body.

Makes no sense at all, criminals will know that there is no resistance at all with no guns around to stop them, like sitting ducks

Gun Free Zone is false safe zone

Gun Free Zones are on par with restraining orders and background checks: none of which prevent a determined perpetrator from committing violence. Gun Free Zones are populated with unarmed, defenseless victims. Background checks cannot predict future behavior based on past performance. Restraining orders restrain no one. The only safe zone is one where a perpetrator feels unsafe.

McCain, Lugar, Grassley, McConnell, Snowe, Lott, Domenici, Inhofe, Santorum are RINOs??? No they aren't, they're TYPICAL Republicans who vote in their political interest, whatever it may be at the moment. If you really want freedom, you should be voting Democratic and telling your representatives your position on guns. Republicans in Congress really don't care.

Man you are one crazy wacko. You are exactly what the Democrats want. A blind sheep defending them while they rape you of your rights.

Wake up and get real. The Democrats want you disarmed and standing in line like a good boy. Stop fooling yourself.
