Right now I'm carrying a P228 (M11) made in West Germany, it's been my issued firearm for two years now and it's my favorite pistol ever. Can't wait to find one of my own when I get back.

1911 Extreme. Just took my new acquisition to the range this past week and I loved every minute of it. I ran 200 rounds of two kinds of ammo through it without a hiccup and I actually found the bulls eye a couple of times. :innocent0 No buyer's remorse with this purchase at all!

BTW, feet were in a pair of shoes in another part of the basement. :lol2:

    I like it.

BUT I need to get used to the double-action trigger pull (first time shooting a double action). I shredded the heck out of the left side of the target - I am lefty - but otherwise was accurate (up & down was good).

Pull seems a little long, especially when compared to a S&W .357 revolver used in double action. According to Sig, it's a 5.5 - 6.5 lb pull, which feels about right, but it just feels a little too long. But a sweet shooter nonetheless. Never failed to feed, never failed to eject, never failed to go bang. Sent 105 rounds of WWB and Blazer aluminum through her. Oh, and she's pretty dang clean for all that.

Yeah the P250 trigger bothered me. I was going to get one, but opted not to.

Glad you like it however. It is a Sig Sauer, only the best!

That Elite above is nice as heck, just too pretty for my taste.

Not all that familiar with Sigs. but I like what I've read about them. One question, can someone explain the difference between the stock triggers on the 226? Some of them are slim and others are much thicker, and the web site doesn't seem to address the differences.

    Thanks.
