Nice shooting with iron sights at a Silhouette Shooting Pig scaled from 300 yards to 100 yards:

    Gordon,

Thanks for letting us shoot those beautiful rifles - they are awesome!

I just hope everyone doesnt blame me for neutering that pig... :D

I went through my Target folder on my laptop, and found a few silhoutte targets (turkey, ram, chicken, pig) that you can print off, and have fun with. I'll have to dig further through my folder - I was pretty sure I had a set that will print various sized targets for scaling a different yardage. If I find them, I'll upload them for you to download.

Here are 4 (one each) of the silhouttes critters below. Right click the files and "Save As" to your directory of choice on your computer.

Below is a pic of that magazine I was telling you about at the range. Mike Venturino has 2 write ups for BPCR bullets. One article is called "Custom Mould Suppliers For BPCR Silhouette. The other is called "Quest For The Perfect BPCR Silhouette Bullet"

Both of those articles are right up your alley! The issue is at newstands now - our local Walmart in Oakland, is where I get mine. That magazine is a very good read, with useful articles on handloading, and shooting.

The cover of the current (December 2012 No. 281) looks like the pic below, minus the bright camera flash in the center :o
