I would like to say thanks to the Stemmer's Run Rilfe & Pistol Club and the volunteers for their time and efforts. It was a great time had by all, I think. The steel pins were a big it, also thanks to Beth for keeping track of the shooters times. Can't wait for the next month. Will post some pictures tonight.

    9mm worked fine.
Some of the welds were even no match for it.
    :innocent0

Feel free to try to break them again next month :D

Yea but the bushings on the pins held,,, and those were the difficult ones,, welding mild to the AR500 steel. All the brackets are being rewelded,, the machine used for them was not hot enough,

Not THAT hard to weld, you did preheat... right? :P

    hey, that's me!

I know, saw your post on page one, I was the long haired guy w/ the camera and shooting the sig .45, cant really say I shot my ruger mkII cause it was acting all sorts of stupid on me, FTE and double feed plus the trigger started messing up as well.
I also took about 300 photos (tho camera was set to full auto so some are 10 shot strings of the same person shooting).

Now to get back to work, have some welding to do

Looks like fun. That should give me an incentive to get over there and renew for the year. Ive been spending all my time shooting indoors lately.

Bring anybody interested too. It's a ton of fun. There should be another shooting position open at the next shoot so more people should be able to have a go at it.
