  • Hello all,
Wanted to let you know that a few of us in DC have started up a new group to fight for more sensible gun laws in the District. It's an uphill battle yes, but there is definitely some momentum on our side. Between Emily Miller's series, Courtland Milloy's pro 2A op eds in the post, and more of the general populace recognizing the inherent stupidity in DC's laws, there is now a turning point in how DC is starting to view guns.

If you live in DC and want to get involved or live elsewhere and just want to show support and advice, visit the group's page at one of the following:

    Twitter: http://twitter.com/#!/DCGunRights

Bravo! Congratulations on getting involved, fighting for your rights, and being a CITIZEN instead of just a resident. As for the group, do you intend to start something like the Citizens' Defense Leagues? Right now it looks like a simple blog, but I understand that it takes a while to get these things together. I'm lookin' for background info and instructions for what I, personally, can do to help. Your fight's gonna a hard one, but you've got my support.

Thanks Glaug. We just had an initial brainstorming session and are trying to figure out our approach. Right now, our goal is to organize as many pro 2A people as possible from all different walks of life then decide on a strategy from there. If you have ideas we would love to hear them, but we are thankful from any and all support form our neighbors.
