Never say never, but I have seen dealers mark eastern block mags as East German. Most were on same pattern, most of the ones I bought in the 90s were hungarian

Yes that kind of money should be able to get you into the Remington 1911's or better.

Rockies are good for around $500ish..........beyond that you can bump up to a little better gun.

Still a nice gun, hang onto it they are really fun revolvers to shoot. They always wore or rusted and the bluing was rubbed off with Grandpa's steel wool and oil on that part of the barrel. Swear 9...
