There are many of us MD Shooters who are members of one of the clubs at the Associated Gun Clubs facility. This social group is meant to give MD Shooters who are members of the AGC an opportunity to meet and shoot together.
The only ground rule I believe we would all agree to, is to remember to treat each other with respect and refrain from making any negative comments about a different club or the AGC. This is a great opportunity to reach across the different clubs and meet fellow MD Shooters.
I'm in Arlington Rifle and Pistol club. I like to shoot clangers with rimfire, pistol, AR and am just getting started with trap. I like to shoot most Saturdays or Sundays depending on family obligations.
Damifiknowfish and I will be shooting metal clangers with rimfire early Saturday afternoon after we finish with our morning chores in the basement of the Barnes Range house. You are welcome to join us. We have a bunch of clangers we can put out to shoot.
The next time Arlington has a carnival shoot, you are invited to come on out and join in the fun. We had 150 reactive targets last time. The shoots keep getting bigger each time we have them.
I plan on being out at AGC Sunday at noon to shoot trap with my son and father in law, I will be wearing my Monumental cap...if you see me please introduce yourself.
Member of Arlington here, have been going to the AGC since the early 80's. You can usually find me at the Trap range although lately have picked up an interest in rimfire rifle.
My credit card wants to thank the AGC for allowing us to shoot metal targets. 2 new guns, tons of new metal targets, too many trips to lowes or home depot to replace wood, and I never thought I would buy .22 ammo by the case.
These reactive targets are like eating potato chips. You just can't eat one.
I think shooting metal targets for Saturday might have fizzled out. We shoot just about every other weekend so we will let you know the next time we go out.
Names John, and im from the Baltimore Rifle Club
I like to shoot durring the week: weekends are usually crowded and i have still yet to make a target stand to shoot at the 100 yard line lol. I normally shoot 200 but i like to get the exercise of 200yard sprints to check my targets after every few shots. Kinda difficult with others on the 200. Still always fun.
