Alas, like most newspapers, the Washington Times is struggling to remain viable in an increasingly online world. It's laying off personnel today and may cease publication in 60 days. That's a real shame. It was one of the few newspapers that reliably supported the Second Amendment, and pointed out the illogical claims of the gun control crowd. Our problem is that the AG can't give opinions to ordinary people. The only way we can get a nice pdf letter we can put in the range bag is for one of our state representatives to ask. I would like to cut the cowling off of the front sights, and thread the barrels for a muzzle attachment. Has anyone done this successfully? Or would I need to completely replace the front sight?

Obviously any Bubba'd fix would lack the retainer pin, but I figure I could Loctite the attachment on if needed.

Are there any gunsmiths in the Baltimore area who could do this for me?
