Waited an hour for a lane this afternoon. but worthwhile. I'll give the staff credit, they are very good with customer engagement and keeping the peace. I could definitely see this as the premier range in the region very soon with all the new additions, events, and location. Anyone else out there today? I got there at about 4:00 and got into the range around 5, shot till around 6:15 or so.

I was there around noon and they were pretty busy then as well. I have always found the staff to be very friendly and accommodating. Heck, they already may very well be the premier range in the region!

When your leading competition is Continental followed by H&M, they became the premier indoor shooting range the moment they opened shop.

I was there early for a class with Dr. Bob.
I was there for about 4 hours. This was the 1st time I have been there on a weekend - whew - it was a zoo!
It was packed - the main area was standing room only most of time - especially early in the afternoon.
Everyone appeared to be understanding and was willing to wait - I also could not believe the number of 1st timers!
FreeState rocks!! (but will continue to rock for me twice a week Monday - Fri and just during the day :lol2:. But it is nice to know that large crowds are nicely handled.

Does anybody know if FreeState plans on expanding. I saw a door open the other day and it sure looks like there is room to add a bunch more lanes, maybe double?

I hope they expand! I can only get out on weekends, the last time I was there we had a 45 minute wait. It would be nice to have a few more lanes available on those cold wintry weekend afternoons...

I got there around 7:30 last night... it was still jumping. Didn't have to wait too long for a lane, about 15-20 minutes.

Kinda glad I didn't go yesterday then, almost dragged the wife there with me. I usually like to get there at 8:30 on a weekday, still busy but no waiting.

I have only been a few times but they won me over the very first time I stepped through the door. I would love to see them buy the large building on the end and double or triple their lanes. I used to go to Continental (and I didn't have the major issues a lot of other people did), but now I exclusively go to Freestate.

Yep, was there yesterday about 2:30 - 3:00 in the afternoon. Had to wait about an hour. They need to open up that second range to accomodate what is going to be even larger crowds as they become more popular.

weekends are getting busy, but they had two lanes down sunday, so that made the wait a little longer.
I'm sure they'll have them back up soon, if not already.

Lot of newer shooters there, many learning with a friend or family member. Still I never saw anyone do anything I would consider dangerous or unsafe which was nice. Shot my M1911a1 Remington Rand (No FTF or FTE in first 100 rounds of ball) for the first time along with USP9 and LCP.
