Ah...yes.
I should have known.
My XD came out of the closet not too long ago and there was no mercy! LOL.
So I went out and bought a .45 and a 9.
.40 is what he wants and I'm not arguing with him...he's a big big truck driver and his fist would crush me. But hey, I'm not selling him my .40. but bringing business to an industry partner.
Lou? help before the comments swarm!!!

For .40, go with the M&P; it was built around this caliber.
I have the 9mm and it is very easy to shoot well.

sup Jared!
I don't have a say in this one.
what he wants is what he gets.
I'm just finding one for him.
he drives trucks has three boys so his budget is not as high as clandestine, petar, you, or I. I did suggest a 9mm so that he won't get gheybashed. but he insists.
anyhow, there no more hope on this thread !!!!!!!!!!!!!

If he wants a .40 tell him to find a SIG 226 CPO (Certified Pre Owned).
If not a SIG any HK .40 or a S&W M&P fullsize would be what I recomend.

Maybe MD can use their help in gaining right to carry here in the state...but they may include that all CCW must have pink grips...

I have an XD40 and it's been flawless through well over 3K rounds from in front of the bench... I did put a powder river precision trigger in it but never had a problem with the stocker, just didn't like it.

I like mine too. Never had a hiccup. handloads, aluminum casing, cheap ammo, nothing...so now that I've done testing it for reliablity, I'll have to paint it pink and pass it on to my wife. I know it will serve her well. I'm getting a tactical light for it today too so she should be well set when I'm traveling.
