okay...so you can now carry in the park but it is illegal to shoot with it. I guess you will have to brandish it and hope the muggers flee in terror.:sad20:

discharging a firearm is usually a misdemeaner that can be easily waived.

should help prevent negligence but hopefully allow for self deffense.

It's still working. Search for gun on site. Here is the article we are barely winning the vote.

A gun wasn't the only thing Mark Fiorino was carrying the day police stopped him on Frankford Avenue. He also had a digital recorder, which he used to tape the confrontation. (Sarah J. Glover/Staff)

Richmond, saying he was not a gun-rights activist but "a proponent of rights in general," said he had seen the ban posted at a county park.

That's the kind of people we need.

I would hope rules on discharge don't apply if your being beat to death.

I have been conspiring to take on our own township over the illegal "gun ban" in our township parks. So far, laziness has overcome me and I haven't typed my first letter yet. I will get to it one of these days. Most of these issues stem from laziness over changing the signage in the parks. Townships won't do it unless someone leans on them. In my township they have revised their official rules and regulations to be in UFA compliance but they still have not changed the signs.

Doesn't necessarily have to be a "letter"...an email to a county commissioner is a good start.
