Hey all,
I took the CZ-52 to On Target today! I also brought along my Nagant Revolver and the CZ-82. I walk in to the shop and one of the guys asked "What caliber are you shooting today?" I didn't even get the 25 out of my mouth when I was saying 7.62x25 when he said, "You can't shoot that here." I tolk him it wasn't the AK round and that it was a pistol caliber. He asked to see them. I took 'em out and he said that he never even heard of them. :lol2: Oh-well they let me shoot it.
It was the first time I shot the CZ-52 since I got it. Boy its a fun gun. The gun shoots flames and sparks all while being fairly accurate. It had nowhere near the recoil I thought it would. I think my .45 ACP has more recoil. All in all a great purchase. Especially after I got 2 spam cans of 1,224 rounds of ammo each from AIM for $119! :D I also got the 9mm Luger barrel, but as long as the Tokerav ammo is cheaper than the 9mm Luger ammo, I don't think I will need the 9mm barrel.
The CZ-82 is one accurate little pistol. I see why AIM says they are the hottest selling C&R pistol. They have one heck of a recoil for it's size in my opinion. A great little pistol you can't go wrong with.
The Nagant revolver is one of a kind. I absolutly love the gun. It is one of the most fun guns I have. I really like shooting it. I use .32 longs because they are a lot cheaper. Shooting the .32's has a distinctive "poof" instead of a "crack." The rounds were all over the place though.
All in all not a bad day. :D

I can't wait to have another fun day at the range like that.
Aren't new (to you) guns the greatest thing in the world? :)

... NOw you were shooting weak milsurp. Try shooting some S&B new commcercial ammo at 1500 to 1550 ft/s next time and see if you still say that. :D
At the Delmarva shoot I shot my latest batch of milsurp (Bulgarian I think) and a few mags of S&B right after. I can tell ya that the milsurp was comfortable but shooting the S&B slapped my hand just like I remembered it would and the trigger guard bounced into my fingers with almost every shot. I can shoot the milsurp I had al day long, but back when I would shoot fifty to one hundred rounds of S&B in one shooting, my hand would feel used and abused for days.....and this is with the Hogue slip on grips on it.

At $10 a box, this should be good enough reason to shoot that Nagant! ;)

I actually have a box of S&B and was saving it considering it was $19 a box! Guess I'll have to shoot it and see what it's like. Maybe not though, 'cause if I do I'm sure I'll want a whole case of it! I do like the S&B stuff. I shot some of their .357 mag out of my Ruger Blackhawk and it was flashing a huge blue flame! Man was it awesome.

Just two months ago I had the chance to order a bunch for less than ten bucks a box and I put it off too long.

Coinboy..Congrats on your '52,
. I love mine to it's been a "blast" every time I use it. I've taken it to Hap Baker and Coninental Arms Ranges and it gets a lot of attention. Get them while you can boys!;)

my CZ52 is a huge hit at the range. and ONTARGET has seen em before. Ed has seen and played with mine before...mainly to be sure it wasnt going to hurt his range!
they are great cheap guns but new production noncorrosive ammo is pricey. very accurate and plenty of power, plus the bonus of a great fireball thrower. a great hit with new shooters....and everyone on the line wants to knwo what the heck im shooting.

Prvi Partisan is still affordable at least.
