HANDGUN 1 (1) Day starting @ 9am

This course is designed to develop safe weapon handling skills. The student will learn the basic fundamentals of shooting and how to safely draw their handgun out of the holster.

Prerequisites: None (OPEN ENROLLMENT)

Cost: $150.00


• Safety 4 Firearms Safety Rules
• 7 Fundamentals of Marksmanship Focusing on Front Sight & Trigger Control
• Malfunctions Type I, Type II, Type III
• Draw (5 steps)

Ammunition Requirements: 300 rounds

Gear: Pistol, holster, three magazines, magazine holders, belt, wraparound eye protection, ear protection, Baseball Cap, weapons cleaning kit, clothing appropriate for climate and conditions.

She understands, but there is a limit to even her patience. Since I'm interested in this class so that I can feel confident enough in my pistol skills to take Tom's M4 class, I need to make sure I don't try her patience too much.

There was a mix in my class. I used my normal concealment Kramer IWB.

You can use whatever holster you like I'm pretty sure, practice with what you would be using for best results. I used an IWB holster when I went.

I have (2) people signed up for this course................

1. an IDPA Shooter who needs some work.

2. a Triple Canopy High Threat Operator getting reday for his vetting course.

I will hold this course since they both need it. Where are all my MD Handgun Shooters???????

Tom, to be honest, this is what I wanted for Chritmas, my wife said she called down, and no-one called her back to sign me up. I am definately doing the next one, since I need to break my bad habits

I am dying to take this class, but I had made plans prior to this class being announced. When is the next one? I will sign up now for it if it is on a Sunday. Hope you guys have a great day of training! Wish I was there.

Tom, by the way that 3 day shotgun course that you sent emails around about for I think for $99.99, wow all I have to say is wow what a price. I just wish I had that money to throw around but Xmas took priority.

Christmas & Football Weekend. Not much room this weekend for shooting :sad20:

Waiting on the February class schedule. I have a couple guys plus myself for the carbine class.
