I need a few for the upcoming three gun. Does anyone carry them around here?

I've seen them made from a piece of yellow plastic with a hole punched in it for the flag part and yellow tie-wraps. Some assembly required.

What about just ordering the "cheeto"? Orange dummy round that has the perpendicular piece that sticks out of the ejection port showing a "clear" weapon. Guess it depends on the application, though.

Kleen Bore makes them. Not sure if any of the local shops carry them. You might have to call around

Kleen-Bore's new Chamber Flags offer a highly visible signal that the chamber in a semi-automatic pistol is clear of a round. The high optic burnt orange Chamber Flags are manufactured from a sturdy synthetic material to ensure long life and dependability. Perfect as an added safety measure while in between shooting matches at the range or during transporting and storing handguns. Designed for semi-automatics in the following calibers: .22, .40, .45, 9mm and 10mm. Contact Chris Lambert at Kleen-Bore, 16 Industrial Pkwy., Easthampton, MA 01027, telephone: [413] 527-0300, FAX: [413] 527-2522, e-mail: chris@kleen-bore.com, Website: www.kleen-bore.com

If it ain't yellow, somewhat square looking, and you've got anal-retentive range officers prepare to be sneered at.

Yeah, anal-retentive grammar weenies, "ain't", ain't a word either.
