Nagant revolver

Just ordered a Nagant revolver from AIM Surplus. Can't wait, but two boxes of ammo and next day shipping costs more than the fricken gun itself :shocked2:

I was just going to say that. The ammo for those things are friggin' outrageous.

It is a neat gun. I like how the cylinder moved forward up against the barrel just before it fires. They say it's one of the only revolvers you can use a silencer with. Pretty cool

BTW, according to the Wikipedia article, you can also fire .32 S&W, .32 S&W long, or .32 H&R Magnums from the Nagant revolver. You lose the gas seal, but then it's just like any other revolver. It sounds like a cheaper way to enjoy shooting it, though.

I think they said $33 dollars for my zip code (Bowie). I ordered some ammo, looks like it will be almost cheaper to spend another $30 bucks or so for the dies and reloading the next batch.

I didn't see where they offered hand pick so I did not. I did see that it comes with a bunch of accessories though like the holster.

Novus, Southern Ohio Gun has Russian target ammo for the Nagant at 14.95/40 rounds. I am buying two next week when I get back from my trip. One for each of my children, after i am done with them.
