Curious to get opinions on the Kel-Tec P38T as a carry gun. I was thinking this gun would be ideal during hot summer months for it's extreme concealability. I've heard it's so small and light you can carry it in the front pocket of pants or shorts without being noticed. Has anyone shot this gun? I know Kel-Tec is not up there with the high quality/high price guns but I've seen relatively good reviews online. I rather hear it direct from a fellow MDShooters member before making a purchase... Thanks!

Please don't tell me I'd be better off with a 45 or 9mm, I realize that. This would only be used in situations where it is not feesable to carry a larger caliber.

Just my humble opinion. Stay far away from Kel-Tec. I have seen these guns fail catastrophically first hand and I would not bet my life on their reliability or accuracy. You would be better off with a walther p22. :D

I had planned to get one last year but at that time they weren't on the list for sale in MD so I wound up getting a Kahr PM-9. I see that they are on the list now.

Thy must have been added very recently because the guy I buy from initially told me they weren't on the list until I showed him that according to the online roster it has been added as "legal for sale in MD". I'm actually surprised they okay'd it. I thought they would not allow it due to it's size and concealability.

I think its status on the list had to do with the "internal trigger lock" and shell casing from the manufacturer.
