I forgot outwitted - everyone else here apparently had the good sense not to go into law enforcement. Not in the State of Maryland anyway. :innocent0

If it weren't for the men in blue who represent that very thin blue line. It's that thin blue line that is between civilization and anarchy. We only have an unforunate event like Katrina to remind of us of that.

I don't know if that's the best example, since we saw their rank-and-file protecting big screen TVs.......by taking them home.

Yup, a few bad apples in every bunch, but by no means representative of law enforcement in this country.

Give me a group of people - teachers, priests, postal service employees, firefighters, even former Marines - there are bad apples in every bunch, greatly outnumbered by many good, decent people.

Was only refering to NOPD, which by the way I got a chance to work with last summer. What is left is a decent group of guys. Alot of their bad apples left with Katrina.
