Since Heller and DC started registering handguns again and as of last Friday for civillians:
237 Total revolvers and semi-automatic handguns brought in to begin the registration process
157 handguns registered
For long guns since Heller:
107 Total rifles/shotguns brought in to begin the registration process
68 rifles/shotguns registered
The disparity between registered firearms and ones brought in to be registered I think has to be because they were brought in very recently since it should not usually take more than a month to finish the process.
Also, this current law will only last for so long and they have to pass another one within 225 days after 9/17/2008. Big changes does not seem likely at this point so the current law may be pretty much what DC is going with from now on.
Hey Don, it looks like I may compile a brochure after all. Any idea how I should structure it?
